Napo sends messages of solidarity to PCS

In a letter to Mark Serwotka, Napo General Secretary Jonathan Ledger sent the best wishes and the solidarity of all Napo members to PCS in their forthcoming dispute.  In his letter he said "The changes to the Civil Service Compensation Scheme which, if implemented will have such a devastating impact on the entitlement to pay for staff going through voluntary or compulsory redundancy, are deplorable.  Coming at a time when so many public sector workers are living with the threat of major cuts to services and job insecurity this action appears both cynical and opportunistic."

PCS are taking strike action on Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th March.
