Retired Membership

Retired membership is available to all staff who have retired from the Probation Service, Cafcass or specially designated employers.

Retired membership is available in two ways.  

Retired Professional Associate Membership which entitles you to the following:

  • Members are welcome at all branch meetings and national Napo meetings such as AGM
  • Voting rights on all motions except for motions relating to salaries and conditions of service
  • Free copies of Napo News (8 issues per year)
  • Free copies of the Probation Journal or Family Court Journal
  • All additional benefits are available to Retired Professional Associate Members (more information on the membership benefits page)


Retired Professional Associate Membership costs £50.00 per annum.

Standard Retired Membership

  • Members are welcome at all branch meetings and national Napo meetings such as AGM, but cannot vote on motions
  • Free copies of Napo News (8 issues per year)
  • Free copies of the Probation Journal or Family Court Journal
  • All additional benefits are available to those with a Standard Retired Membership (more information on the membership benefits page)

 

Standard Retired Membership costs £30.00 per annum.


In order to become a Retired Member of Napo you will need to send an application form, along with your cheque for your fees made payable to Napo to your local membership secretary. Because membership secretaries can change throughout the year you will need to either call or email the membership department at Napo to find out who your local contact is.
