And we're off!

A warm welcome to the 2007 AGM Blog. It's a beautiful day in Scarborough, just right for this Conference celebrating 100 years of probation and family court work.

This year I am planing to write it from the platform so that it can provide even greater immediacy, the internet connection allowing!

As usual, the Cafcass Section AGM has started things off - and I'm due to speak at the meeting when I finish this.

The Probation side has just begun with an opening speech from Maria Eagle, Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice. Judy McKnight will be responding.
