Nice one Rob, the cheque is in the post. Now Sleepy, you have known me for a looooong time, and you know that I get all my info from Tabloid gutter press, and I belive what they write. So your scientific theory/fact, is lost on me. Whereas Robs theory sounds reasonable to me. |

I also don't get why it's so complicated. If my school biology serves me if you've got a Y chromosone then your chromosomal sex is male regardless of outward features like genitals or pullover technique! |

Sorry to be all serious pulp, but one theory is that she may have Androgen insensitivity syndrome - in essence, you are born genetically male but have female genitalia. it's very rare, but there have been a few scandals over the years when athletes have it it's one of the issues in modern sports - what catagory to intersexed individuals complete in? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erik_Schinegger is one example from history |

Obvious - watch him/her take a pullover off. If s/he crosses her arms in front of her and pulls from the front, she is a girl. If she grabs it at the back of the neck with both hands and pulls it over her head, she is a he. Simples! I'll take a cheque I don't think, therefore I'm not.

Now I feel I am on the ball with diversity stuff and that. Now we have this female athete from Africa, and the controversy that people say she may be a man, and she is having to go though various tests to ascertain what sex she is. They are carrying out thousands of pounds worth of blood and hormone testing etc. Is it just me or are they missing the obvious way of finding out the sex of this person. |
