GFTU Training Courses
The General Federation of Trade Unions (GFTU) is an idependant federation of specialist unions. In 1971 the GFTU Education Trust was set up. This finances additional educational activities for trade unionists in the fields of Industrial Relations, Law, Health and Safety and other topics of interest.

All residential and one-day seminar courses are FREE to delegates of Napo. For residential courses, accommodation, travel, meals and all course fees are paid for by the Trust. For one-day seminars, travel costs ONLY will be provided by the GFTU.
Weekend residential courses start at 6.30pm on Friday evening and finish at 1pm on Sunday.
Midweek 5-day residential courses start at 12 noon on Monday and finish at 4.30pm on Friday.
Midweek 2-day residential courses start at 11.00am on the first day and finish at 4.00pm on the seconde day.
1-day seminars start at 10.30 amd and finish between 4.30 and 5.00pm.
To apply for a course you should complete a course nomination form, available online (http://www.gftu.org/content/3/1/13/), from the GTU offices (0207 520 8340) or a printable versions is attached below. The form should be counter-signed and returned to the GFTU by your General Secretary (via Napo Head Office).
Remeber to inform your local ULR or a member of the ULF Project Team if you attend any of these courses.
