We are all using more and more chemicals to try to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and, particularly in winter, this can cause contact dermatitis due to the cumulative effect on the skin. Please find attached advice on preventing this by using disposable gloves when using chemicals (except when washing hands).

If you have health and safety related concerns about any of the measures currently in place to prevent the spread of covid-19 please contact your branch health and safety reps. Make sure that you record, using your employer procedures, any workplace injury including contact dermatitis caused by exposure to chemicals.
