HM Inspectorate of Probation has launched two new resources: ‘Effective case supervision for adults’ and ‘The evidence base – probation services.’
These easy-to-use resources provide evidence and support for probation practitioners, researchers and other professionals to deliver high quality probation services.
‘Effective case supervision for adults’ illustrates what ‘good’ looks like against the Inspectorate’s standards, by breaking down how practitioners should assess, plan, implement and review cases.
This guide further demonstrates how probation practitioners can strengthen their case supervision skills, using real-life examples and ex-service user feedback.
