Napo Women’s Occupational Health one day Seminar
Date: Wednesday 6 December
Location: Clapham Junction, London.
Time: 11- 4.30
Women's occupational health issues were raised frequently at this year's AGM, particularly in connection with the Napo Menopause guidance which was launched in time for the conference. Also, resolutions were passed that have particular significance for women – for example around stress at work and wellbeing. So there is a lot to discuss at the seminar and I hope that you will be able to attend to take part.
The seminar will be of interest to all women members – whether they work in family courts or probation services.
The speakers are:
- Professor Myra Hunter and Doctor Claire Hardy Professor from Kings College London on results from 2016 survey of Napo women’s health and safety at work which focused on women’s premenstrual experiences and the menopause at work.
- Andrea Oates, freelance journalist, author of recent Labour Research article ‘Keeping women safe and healthy’.
- Kathryn Mackridge , TUC Women's Equality Policy Officer
Tea and coffee will be provided but all other expenses, including travel must be covered by your branch. The event is suitable for all our members – family court and probation based.
