SUBSCRIPTION ARRANGEMENTS

There are two options for Associate membership.  

Standard Associate membership of Napo is open to anyone who supports Napo's activities but is not eligible to be a full member. Associate members of Napo can

  • Attend branch meetings and the AGM as a non-voting member
  • Access Napo publications like the Napo Magazine, Probation Journal and Family Court Journal
  • Benefit from a range of services from external providers including legal assistance

Professional Associate membership is available to

  • Former probation or family court staff who become teachers making a substantial contribution to the training of future probation or family court staff
  • Social workers in Scotland working with offenders
  • Probation and other relevant staff working on the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands
  • Social work staff of approved probation hostels not employed by probation
  • Other staff employed by probation or Cafcass, who share the professional aims of the Association, but who are not eligible for full membership

As a Professional Associate you can:

  • Attend branch meetings and the AGM and vote on issues except those relating to pay and conditions
  • Access Napo publications like the Napo Magazine, Probation Journal and Family Court Journal
  • Benefit from a range of services from external providers including legal assistance

Professional Associate Members pay 25% of the full member rate at the appropriate salary band.  The current subscription rates for Full members are detailed on this subscription rates sheet

When this form has been received and processed we will advise you on how to make your payment.  We will send you a subscription reminder by email or letter when your membership is due for renewal.
For Professional Associate applications only, so that we can calculate your membership subscription fee

BRANCHES

Associate / Professional Associate members shall belong to the Napo branch covering the area in which they normally reside.

Members normally residing ouside of England, Wales and Northern Ireland may belong to a branch of their choice.

DECLARATION

Occasionally Napo may pass on personal information to approved parties, e.g. solicitors, but only if you consent by selecting "Yes" below.  This information will be used to assist our representation of members and/or improve our services to you.
