Most people never see probation work.
They don't see the late evenings. The weekends. And they certainly don’t see the TOIL that never gets taken.
But you do.
Every extra hour tells part of the story, and we are asking members to help us tell it.
What we need from you:
- Take a screenshot of your TOIL sheet (making sure any personal information is covered)
- Send it to campaigns@napo.org.uk
- Still have questions about the workloads campaign? Attend our next all members meeting on Tuesday 21st July at 12.30pm
Why?
Because every hour owed is evidence. Evidence that workloads aren't sustainable and that dedicated staff are holding the system together with unpaid labour. We will be sharing this on social media to help raise awareness.
If there is one thing ministers and the employer dislikes is the public becoming aware of issues they are trying to sweep under the carpet. That’s why we are also asking you to leave us a voice note sharing your story.
Let’s see if they try to change the narrative when hundreds of screenshots tell the most accurate story.
Things cannot go on like this

We have reached a fork in the road
This ballot will determine how high workloads end up being on the employer’s agenda. We explain how which path you choose will impact you and colleagues. Read here
