Last Saturday’s demonstration in London against the rise of the Far Right in Europe and beyond, saw a massive gathering of trade unions, faith groups, community organisations, politicians and the performing arts.
Estimates of the attendance has been described by the media as having attracted at least half a million people, making this the biggest ant-racist event in British History. It’s important that the momentum, energy and messaging that was generated by this extraordinary day is maintained in our workplaces and communities. We need to join together to help counter the divisiveness and hateful extremist mantra that is taking root in mainstream politics.
