Update on One HMPPS Joint Trade Union Dispute

Napo alongside our sister Trade Unions, UNISON and GMB, registered a further dispute on the OneHMMPS initiative on the 15 Feb 2024. The panel met on the 9th April to hear the dispute.  We made progress in a number of areas.  However, the panel was split on whether to agree to a pause and a reconsideration of the matching process. It fell to the Chair of the panel to make a decision and sadly the chair decided no to a pause and changing the matching process.

Attached is the dispute that was submitted by the Trade Union side alongside the outcome from the dispute panel hearing.  We shall be holding a joint Trade Union meeting of staff that are affected by the OneHMPPS restructure on Thursday 2nd May at 4:30PM, to discuss the outcome of the dispute. If you work in HQ and are affected by the OneHMPPS re-structure, please come along and attend. Please note this meeting is for staff working in HQ only - for joining instructions please contact info@napo.org.uk giving which unit you work for in HQ.
