Probation staff have had enough.
Pay in the Probation Service has fallen by 60% in real terms since 2010. While workloads soar, morale sinks and too many of our members are struggling to make ends meet, with some even turning to food banks.
This year, Napo is taking a stand.
We are campaigning for a fair pay rise that reflects the complexity, responsibility and risk our members carry every day. Our 2025 pay claim — submitted jointly with UNISON and GMB — demands a 12% uplift, a £15/hour minimum wage, and urgent action to retain and recruit staff.
This page will become your go-to space for updates, resources and information throughout the campaign, including materials, FAQs and how to get involved.
We’ll be updating this page regularly so please keep checking back
Together, we can win the pay and respect our profession deserve
