Community Justice Programme gets Green Light from Gove

Some good news for once in that Sir Martin Narey has completed his review of Probation Qualifications and that he and the Secretary of State have approved the original proposals for Community Justice Learning apparently without any amendments. We have heard that procurement will therefore be recommencing forthwith with a view to seeing recruitment of the first learners in June 2016.

Given the perennial debates about training availability and standards it's good that the review has been undertaken swiftly, and that all those involved in its planning and the procurement vehicle can move on with some certainty.

More news to be issued once we have it .
