‘To no one will we sell Justice’ – protest at Grayling’s Global Law Summit

Several hundred lawyers, campaigners and trade unionists, including  Napo members, braved the cold to welcome Justice Alliance ‘Relay for Rights’ marchers outside Houses of Parliament on Monday 23 February.

The marchers, led by an effigy of ‘King John’ Grayling in the stocks had walked to Westminster from Runnymede over the previous three days and the lunchtime rally, opposite the Houses of Parliament, was in protest at the Justice Secretary marking the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta with a Global Law Summit in the Queen Elizabeth II Centre over the road. The summit is billed as showcasing the British Justice System as ‘destination of choice for Global business’. Click here to read the story in full.
